coffee dictionary

cafe - french for coffee
espresso - brewed by forcing very hot, but not boiling, water under high pressure through grounded coffee; invented in italy; has a thicker consistency than drip coffee; aka caffeine shots

latte - italian for milk; refers to coffee prepared to the proportions of one third espresso and two-thirds steamed milk, thus has a milder & milkier taste
mocha - one third espresso and two thirds steamed milk, but with a shot of yummy chocolate added
cappuccino - prepared with espresso and foamy steamed milk. note: a lot of foam
kopi - boiling water + substandard coffee powder in a dodgy food centre, probably in singapore
