“Some men came, bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four of them. Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and, after digging through it, lowered the mat the paralyzed man was lying on. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."
Mark 2:3-5

We may be able to sit at the feet of Jesus, but can we be the stretcher carrier for Christ? Can we overcome some seemingly insurmountable odds to bring a friend who was once lost to His feet? Dear Lord, open up the eyes of my heart to the people around me.

for the anxious heart

for the anxious heart

“Don't be troubled. You trust God, now trust in me. There are many rooms in my Father's home, and I am going to prepare a place for you. If this were not so, I would tell you plainly. When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.”
- John 14:1-4

but this world is not our home, and He will come again himself, to take us.

revival!

Dusty my soul tonight.
Earth has been dear.
Bewildered, i come to You,
Father God, hear.

Idols that charm me,
dreams that allure,
pains that alarm me,
suspense to endure,
memories that linger,
thoughts that ensnare,
a heart that is aching,
all crumpled b care,
unsatisfied, restless,
scarce able to pray -

everything, everything
take it away.

Only You,
none but You,
Jesus alone:

ahes the rest to me,
songs with a groan,
take them each one away -
mind not my tears -
lift me above this earth's
joy and its fears,
give me Yourself alone -
nothing beside -
so will i be with You,
content, satisfied!

-clouds are the dust of His feet
